Classes We Offer
We have six classes, all tailored to your child's specific age and skill level.
Infant Room
6 weeks-1year
This room is especially designed for a smaller number of infants allowing them the individualized attention they need. We will provide lots of cuddling, talking and playing. Books and toys will be available to stimulate their development at this early age.
Toddler Room
1-2 years
Play is important to toddlers, through play they learn about their world and themselves. Age appropriate activities are also part of our curriculum. Art, fingerplays, songs, books and physical activity are just a few things we offer to stimulate cognitive and motor skills. Parents will receive monthly calendars and weekly lesson plans to keep you involved.
Two Year Old Room
2-3 years
At this stage of development a child enjoys playing independently, but will also be encouraged to participate in group activities. Art, books, toys, puzzles and games will be offered to stimulate cognitive and motor skills. Cirlce time is a fun time where children learn colors, alphabet and counting in english and spanish! Your child will learn patience and listening skills as well. Potty training begins at this age and together, teachers and parents will work to help your child during this process. Monthly calendars and weekly lesson plans are also available to the parents.
Pre-K
3-4 years
These years are times of unlimited energy, exhuberance and curiosity. An educational program is offered including a variety of activities. Your child will continue to learn about the alphabet, numbers, and colors. We introduce writing skills, visual, and sorting/classifying skills. Center play, art and physical activities are a favorite for this group!
4-5 years
A skill based curriculum will be preseted to stimulate students of varying backgrounds, ages and levels of achievement. The curriculum will include such developmental skills as language arts, mathematics, science, music and art. These skills are tailored for a young, growing mind. Field trips are taken often and parent involvement is welcomed. The underlying goal is to provide children the opportunity to succeed in these areas of development and prepare them for kindergarten. Your child will love all of the fun and exciting activities this class has to offer!
After School/Summer Camp
5-10 years
The after school room is arranged with learning centers and activities to encourage creativity, decision making and exploration. The room is designed to allow for quiet homework time and space to enjoy fun and challenging activities. We offer care for early release days, no school days and holiday/spring breaks. From June to August we offer summer camp where children go on fun and exciting field trips and engage in special in house activities!
